The Spillway in Flood

Four floods between January and April. To be specific 12-13 January 237mm, 19 February 125mm, 24 March 162mm, and 13 April 140mm. These are from our raingauge readings and may be more than a 24hour period but obstensibly it gives you a good idea of the main deluge amounts. Looking at the recorded weather for this area 469mm was recorded this year compared with 190mm as an longterm average. Quite a difference!

About Denis Buchanan

Once upon a time I was a Chemical Engineer now I am a born again Farmer. The transition was really quite easy with the major change that the life of feasibility studies has ended and any experiment that I wish to undertake is at my peril.
