It is now March 17 and still no sign of rain. We are regularly irrigating using drip irrigation. But it is very difficult wetting the ground when it is this dry.
Never the less it has been a good season for nashis and some varieties of apples. At present we have in pears Williams, Packhams, Beure Bosse and Winter Coles as well as 2 varieties of Nashis. In apples we have picked Gravenstein, Cox’s orange pippins, Gala, Red Delicious and Golden Delicious. We still have to pick Jonagold, Fuji Pink lady and Granny Smith.
We are offering very good prices for all our fruit. You should be able to see our prices on Facebook Eureka Farm.
