Lots of  geese this year as earlier photo indicated. We were not sure what to do with them and Ann doesn’t particularly like eating what we had grown used to seeing, and become friendly with. So Ann decided to put an add in the Tassie Country and we have been inundated with people keen to get geese. Most people want geese to eat the grass in their orchards or spare land. They are pretty good at this and to my mind are really non stop eaters. Also they don’t scratch under trees like chooks. Unfortunately they only seem to lay once a year so production of goslings is rather limited.

Anyhow today everyone is coming to get their orders and hopefully we will have enough.
