It is so colod even the lawn mower needs a jumper

Winter time now and weather is very cold. Probably the coldest winter I have experienced in 24 years. We have been very busy with our maintenance program. Firstly we had a lot of trees to prune and to be honest that is not finished. Then we had to prepare ground for planting. Fortunately until very recently weather has been dry.

This year we got our strawberry runners from Perry’s in Toolangi  Victoria. I must say after our experience with Toolangi Strawberry Grower it was a welcomed experience to get such beautiful plants. Not only were they very healthy but were delivered very clean and soil free. With the other supplier we had so much difficulty getting them through Quarantine that in the end we didn’t get them at all.
