Frederick from France is God’s gift to Eureka Farm. We have many pieces of farm machinery such as tractors which have developed problems. For me these can be my worst nightmare to Frederic they seem to be a challenge. So when he offered to come I was delighted . He lives up to his profile which is described below.

This is Frederic’s profile on Helpx: “hello my name is Frederic Pey I live in Aigues-Mortes in the south of France next to Montpellier. I am 29 years old & I live on my parents’ vineyard, 15 ha vineyard. I created my company metalworker there 3 years being passionate case. I have worked 10 years on a large farm where I take care of the maintenance and operation of vehicles: tractor combine harvester harvesting machine and all the tools used in the exploitation of cereals, vegetables & vineyards. I also work at the vineyard of my parents and I do the harvest with my machine harvesting. I love working in contact with nature and I am very manual. I love learning new technical work. Well he certainly lived up to this statement. So many tasks that I found daunting he attacked with relish. The Case tractor shown here is a good example. Both front wheels had oil leaks which he fixed. The electrics were not much good with lights and horn not working. All the filters were changed and so it went on.

I often had to think up new tasks as my short list of jobs soon became diminished as he attacked them.

But mainly it was fun having such an interesting man around. His knowledge and lifestyle was shared with us.
