Black currants
Yes we are now back in the sale of freshly picked black currants. As readers will know we had troubles with Australia Post during the Covid Period. This seems to have ended and we are attempting to send multiple of 1.5kg parcels by Express Post to outlets in N.S.W and Victoria. Have a look at our shopping trolley if you are interested. I will supply more info when time permits but too busy to do it now
The berries this year are loaded. We put this down to all the summer rain we have had. The picture shows Heather with some of the berries she has picked.
This year the blackcurrants will not be washed as we feel this led to early breakdown in previous years. They will be hand cleaned of stalks and leaves as good as we can. They will be then vacuum sealed and frozen. They will go via Australia post on Tuesday or Wednesday.
